Manufacturing of Corrugated Products
American Container was started in 1989 as a brokerage with 10,000 square feet of space. In 1993 we acquired several pieces of finishing equipment and started light manufacturing. In the fall of 1999 we expanded to a complete sheet plant. This was in response to existing customers request and to meet market conditions.
This plant was founded on the principle of superior service to our customers. The challenges of varied product lines, short lead times, just-in-time delivery, emergency orders, warehousing, increasing quality requirements, cost reduction, design changes, and customer partnerships have long been part of our everyday business.
Production capacity and flexibility are provided by 1 three color and 1 two Flexo Printer slotters and one two color Sun Lead edge feed Die Cutter. All printing sections have at least 200 line screen and two have 280 line screen. Our Cutting department consists of two Slitters, one Eccentric Slotters & two band saws.
We have 10 Converting Machines (glue, stitch, tape) that includes an EMBA Folder Gluer, Emba Mini Flexo, a Ward Flexo, and a Jumbo Folder Gluer. In addition to this we have a FMC Labeler and a Partition Slotter. New equipment editions will be dictated by customer needs and market conditions.
